The crazy flowerpot monster returns!

Day 42: Saturday 23 November

Today we went for a walk on the Common so Benji could run around on the 'Flexi' lead again.  He certainly seemed to enjoy it.

But then it was a case of "Saturday night is bath night"

Day 41

Today I took Benji to the sports field and tried out the 'Flexi' lead.  He enjoyed the extra freedom and being able to run around.  Although he does come back when he is called I am not sure I am ready to let him off just yet, but it will be fun when he does.

Day 39

Today we took Benji to his first puppy training class.  We thought it would be useful to get some guidance on how to train him properly.  It also gave him a chance to socialise with others dogs.  Well that was the theory, he spent most of the evening under our chair!!

We have however mastered the 'lie down' now we are home.

But when Amy came around for a sleepover this was even better!!

Day 34

Benji has taken a liking to scratching and pulling at the matting under the stones, hoping that you will chase him for doing it!  He soon gives up if no one comes.

We are attempting to get Benji accustomed to the lounge by allowing him to play in there when we are around.  It gives him a nice area to run around especially on cold wet evenings when it is 'zoomies' time!!

If you want it back you will have to catch me first! 

The slipper is nearly as big as him!

Valerie read that wetting a facecloth and freezing it can help with his teeth; seems to work

Day 29

Today it was sunny so Benji helped in the garden again.

We have now had Benji for a month and he really feels part of the family.  He makes us smile most days with each new antic he comes up with, and is full of fun and mischief!  He still loves to pose for the camera!

It is amazing to see how much he has grown in the month and the little changes in his appearance.

But he didn't count on the beans moving inside the beanbag and fell off!!
